Shows Available to License
The following three shows will be available for school groups to license.
A Fantasy Works adaptation of Shakespeares magical play featuring original music. This show is easily performed by a group of junior high or high school students and can accommodate a cast of up to 60 students. Includes script, production CD, musical score, production book with suggestions for staging, and a set of activities keyed to the National Education Standards.
Show runs 1 hour. Permission to videotape performances is granted provided the tapes are not sold or broadcast.

A Fantasy Works adaptation featuring 11 new songs such as Unbelievable but True, Stepping Out, Trickery and Lies, and the Legendary Land of La. The story is told by a troupe of storytellers who are on stage for the whole show. Cast size can range from 12 to 60. The show was written for elementary school students to perform, but older students or adults could perform the show for children. Includes script, production CD, musical score, production book with suggestions for staging, and a set of activities keyed to the National Education Standards.

This half-hour musical is offered to school groups to perform free-of-charge to benefit non-profit groups that work to alleviate hunger and/or homelessness. (There are charges associated with duplicating and mailing out materials.) Regnuh, a fire-breathing dragon threatens Sylvana, the tree of life. A student named Arthur is magically transported to the mystical kingdom of Dacarshu where he meets an assortment of characters that help explain how the evil Regnuh gets its power and what ordinary school children can do to overcome it. Based on a Haitian legend, this show was originally written in collaboration with students from Aldrich Junior High School in Warwick, RI and funded by the RI State Council of the Arts. It received one of the first Alan Shawn Feinstein Hunger Brigade Awards. The show has been recently revised and can be presented as a multi-media show that showcases each schools community service efforts. It includes a script, a performance CD, a rehearsal CD, a production guide that gives suggestions for staging, and activities for integrating the show with community service learning programs.
